SUCCESFUL BALL
MORRINSVILLE DAIRY CO. The staff of the Morrinsville Dairy Company held a most successful ball in the Physical Culture Hall recently. The function was an outstanding success and in consequence the patriotic funds, to which the proceeds were donated, will benefit very considerably. An energetic committee had transformed the hall with green foliage and multi-colour flowers. Novelty dances added to the gaiety of the evening, the winners being Mr and Mrs C. Hally, Mr and Mrs L. Everett, Miss G. Glasscock and Mr B. Mohn, and Miss N. Borbett and Mr M. Stewart. Extras were played by Messrs S. Watts, T. Large and P. Hall. His Worship, the Mayor, Mr W. Hetherington, congratulated the organisers on their effort and thanked them for the financial assistance to the patriotic fund. Among those present were:—Mesdames L. Faulkner, black floral cloque; J.
