SICK SOLDIERS BENEFIT

WORK OF HAMILTON WOMEN Credit is due to a number of Hamilton women, who are working in the interests of the Hamilton sub-centre of the New Zealand Red Cross, organising an appeal for gifts for the sick soldiers. Since July 14, 2000 cigarettes, 40 ounces tobacco, writing materials, oranges, handkerchiefs, cards, cakes, sweets, etc., have been collected and distributed at the hospital. Books or anj' other suitable gifts for the sick soldiers, would be welcomed at the Red Cross shop, Garden Place. Special thanks are extended to the following helpers by Mrs Clough:— Mesdames R.
