PARADE OF TROOPS
REVIEW IN AUCKLAND MEN OF THE SPECIAL FORCE (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Thursday All members of the first echelon of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force who are training in the camps in the Northern Military Command will join in a mass parade before the civic authorities at Auckland at 11 a.m. on January 3. The troops will journey to the city by special train. The first train will arrive from Ngaruawahia at 9.50, and the men are due to reach the Auckland Domain at 10.25. Three trains for the men in camp at Papakura will leave Papakura at 9.30, and reach the city between 10.5 and 10.15. The men will march to the Domain as they arrive. The first group will be played by the Artillery Band, the second will be led by the Papakura camp band, and the third by the band of the Ist Battalion, Auckland Regiment. The Ngaruawahia men will leave on their return at 1.15 p.m., the first detachment of Papakura men at 1.30 and the second group at 1.45.
