BODY IN RIVER
OPEN VERDICT GIVEN WHATAWHATA TRAGEDY An inquest was held before Mr F. W. Platts, coroner, yesterday afternoon into the death of David Lindsay McCorquindale, aged 37, farmer, of Whatawhata, whose body was found in the Waipa River at Whatawhata yesterday. The deceased had been missing since December 4. A verdict was returned that McCorquindale was found drowned.
