TO SAVE PETROL
DAIRY INDUSTRY INVOLVED RESTRICTION LIKELY AGAIN (Special to Times) PALMERSTON N., Tuesday With a view to conserving petrol by eliminating unnecessary running of cream lorries, Sir Francis Frazer, deputy-chairman of the Executive Commission of Agriculture, and Mr D. Jones, a member of the commission, met representatives of dairy companies. An organisation was set up to evolve a plan. Sir Francis stated that the meeting had been convened at the request of the oil fuel controller, and he stressed the likelihood of petrol restrictions being reimposed after the holidays.
