OTAGO AND SANDERS CUP OWNER WITHDRAWS BOAT (By Teleg-raph.—Press Association) DUEDIN, Tuesday Because of remarks which appeared in the press after the last meeting of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association, W. Wray, owner of the Ripple, which was chosen to represent the province in the Sanders Cup contest next month, notified the association to-night that he would not loan his boat for the contest. As a result of this decision the association selected the Evelyn .is the Otago challenger. The report which appeared in the press after the last meeting of the association contained the following reference to the Ripple: “ At the same time Todd informed the delegates that he considered he would put up a better performance in the contest in either his own boat, the Evelyn, or the Lynette, than in the Ripple.”
