MISS E. SAUNDERS HONOURED A jolly party was held recently at the home of Mrs H. Duncan, when the friends of Miss Elsie Saunders gathered to tender her a gift afternoon in honour of her approaching marriage. During the afternoon competitions were held and musical items by Miss Edna Herbert were greatly appreciated. The competitions were won by Mrs J. Vincent and parcels with best wishes from her

Misses J. Thompson and N. Wallace. Afternoon tea was served, after which Mrs S. Peebles asked Miss Saunders to accept the numerous friends. Miss Saunders suitably replied. The guest-of-honour was wearing a smart honey gold ensemble, with brown accessories. Among those present were:—Mesdames W. Saunders, S. Holmes, T. Wallace, R. Mitchell, B. Discombe, J. Newcombe, N.
