DAIRY ADVANCES LOWER FALL IN STERLING (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The Reserve Bank return for the week ended Monday, November 6, was gazetted to-night. The statement is balanced at £35,348,456, or £400,867 less than at- the close of the previous week. The sterling exchange reserve, at £5,605,338, is £137,749 lower than the level on the previous Monday. The aggregate of notes and other demand liabilities is £429,000 less than a week before, principally through a reduction of £812,868 in Government deposits. The ratio is 25,267 per cent, compared with 25,367 per cent the week before. Advances to the Primary Products Marketing Department are lower by £119,710, while those for other purposes have increased by £IOO,OOO. There has been a fall of £315,104 in the value of investments.
