AIRMAN’S DEATH
BODY POUND IN HARBOUR (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Tuesday The body of an aircraftsman stationed at the Hobsonville air baae, Mr Eric Joseph Clince, aged 21, of Opua, Bay of Islands, was recovered from the upper harbour yesterday. Mr Clince had been on leave from the base since 2 p.m. on Saturday. He had been expected to report back to his unit at 4 p.m., but, when he failed to appear, it caused no concern as he was to go on leave again on Sunday and it was presumed that he had missed the boat to Hobsonville.
