FANCY DRESS DANCE
LOYAL HAMILTON LODGE There was a large attendance of officers and members of the Loyal Hamilton Lodge, Manchester Unity Oddfellows, when they recently held their fortnightly meeting. The Most Noble Grand, Bro. W. Thomas, presided and welcomed visitors from the Loyal Hand of Friendship Lodge (Huntly), Frankton Junction and Kirikiriroa Lodges. After the closing of the meeting a masked fancy dress dance was held. Sisters B. Hebditch and B. Chestnut, as “Two Little Girls in Blue,” won the women’s prize, and Bro. R. P. Langton, as a “Cowboy,” was the men’s prize-winner. ' Many novelty dances caused much amusement and helped to make the evening a success. Excellent music was supplied by Mr Critchley and Mr J. Bolton, and Bro. W. Thomas acted as master of ceremonies. During the evening supper was served by members of the social committee. Among those present were:—Mesdames J. Haggard, R. Johnston, N. Dahl, N. Warner, W. J. White, J. Walker, T. Chestnut, E. Walkerdon, Litchwark, C. White.
