OKOROIRE FUNCTION
TENNIS DANCE A most enjoyable dance was held in the Okoroire Hall recently, when tennis players and their friends were present from all surrounding districts. Organised by the committee of the Okoroire Hall Tennis Club, the function was arranged in conjunction with the official opening of the tennis courts. A special feature of the evening was a demonstration of modern ballroom dancing given by Miss Wilmer Witton and Mr L. Beeson, of Auckland. Music for dancing was played by the Three Musketeers Band, and Mr N. Breward was in charge of the floor arrangements. Among those present were:—Mesdames D. Paul, wearing apple green marocain; N. R.
