WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION
POST AND TELEGRAPH ASSN. An enjoyable afternoon was recently held by the Post and Telegraph Women’s Association at the Y.M.C.A. lounge, Mrs Wood, president, presiding over a fair attendance. Arrangements for the Christmas children’s party to be held on December 9 are well in hand. Three amusing competitions were won by Mesdames Wood and Mack, and afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Dwyer, Von Sturmer, Grant and Miss Roche. The final meeting of the year will be on December 6. Among those present were:— Mesdames Wood, Bromley, Roche, Nicholas, Sherson, Hunter, Wilson, Gibon, Stephens, Von Sturmer, Dwyer, Grant, Mack, Nodder, Norris, Green, Dalton, Martin, Hurrell, Hinkley, Gibons, Cameron, Harder and Miss Roche.
