COMING=OF=AGE DANCE

FOR MISS PHYL REAR In the Masonic Hall, Claudelands, cn Saturday night, a very jolly dance was given by Mr and Mrs F. Kear, in honour of the coming-of-age of their daughter, Phyl. The hall was artistically decorated with apple and cherry blossom and the supper tables with Iceland poppies.

Mr Gordon Kear was master of ceremonies.

Mrs Kear received the guests wearing a frock of black satin-backed crepe relieved with silver and white. The guest-of-honour wore a frock of clover shot taffeta and a white fur cape.
