GIFT EVENING

MISS PHYLLIS ARNS HONOURED A very happy evening was given recently by Miss Amy Barnett at her home for Miss Phyllis Arns, whose marriage to Mr Jack O’Leary is to take place shortly. Musical items and competitions were much enjoyed, the successful competitors being Misses P. Arns. E. Roach, K. Jordan, and M. and B. Prendergast. After the serving of supper the gifts were opened by the guest-of-honour, who suitably thanked the donors.

Miss Barnett was wearing a black frock, and Miss Arns a frock of Nilegreen printed georgette. Those present were:—Mrs N. S. Endres.

Misses Phyllis Arns, Agnes Crosby Eileen Roach, Kath Jordan, MoVlie Prendergast, Gwen Fox, Pat Crosby, Irene Crosby, Eileen Jordan, Beryl Prendergast, and Nan Parnell.
