lan Hunter is to play Edward IV. in “Tower of London,” in place of George Sanders, who originally was assigned to the role. The cast for “Of Mice and Men” has Burgess Meredith as George, Lon Chaney, jun., as Lennie. Betty Field as Curley's wife, and Charles Bickford as Slim. Cary Grant is beginning work on “Passport to Life.” Irene Dunne plays opposite. The life of Edgar Allan Poe may star Franchot Tone as the poet, with Lucille Fairbanks as his wife. Maxwell Anderson’s “Saturday's Children” is being read by Jean Arthur, who will star in it if she considers the chief part suitable.
