LIFE OF POCAHONTAS
HEDY LEMARR IN FILM TO BE MADE IN COLOUR Hedy Lamarr is to take the part of Pocahontas, the sixteenth century Red Indian princess, in a colour film of her life story to be made by M.G.M. Either Clark Gable or Spencer Tracy will be Captain John Smith, for whose life Pocahontas interceded when he was captured by her father. Later she married a settler and died in England, at Gravesend, a year after her arrival.
