FAREWELL AFTERNOON

FOR MIBS D. I. BUCHANAN A delightful afternoon was given by Miss D. E. Menzies and Miss C. Hooker in the Lyceum Club lounge to bid farewell to Miss D. I. Buchanan, who is leaving the Waikato Hospital to take up the position of Lady Superintendent of the Southland Hospital, Invercargill. On behalf of the committee of the Registered Nurses’ Association, Mrs P. Snell presented Miss Buchanan with a linen cloth from the members and wished her all good luck in her new position. Those present were:—Mrs P. Snell, Mrs S. .Graham, Miss F. Young, Miss M. Philpott, Miss E. Jenkins, Miss M. Douglas, Miss C. Henderson.
