RHODES SCHOLARS

NEW ZEALANDERS’ MOVEMENTS (By Telerrtph. — Press Association) WELLINGTON. Wednesday The New Zealand Rhodes Scholar Mr 1. E. Berendsen, of Wellington, has advised that he is returning to the Dominion, but Mr C. Weston, of Christchurch, who also was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship last year, will remain in England. He holde a commission in the Canterbury regiment and in the event of a New Zealand force being sent overseas he desires to serve with it. Otago Nominee* Messrs Norman Victor Farrell and Lloyd George Geering have been selected by the Professorial Board of the University of Otago as nominees for Rhodes scholarships.
