WOMEN’S GOLF FINAL'
HAMILTON CLUB TITLE MRS. MCDONALD LEADING The final of the Hamilton Women’s Golf Club senior championship was played over 36 holes at St. Andrews links to-day under ideal conditions. At the end of the first 18 holes Mrs H. McDonald led Mrs B. Seyi>, 1 up. After losing the first five holes Mrs Seyb made a great recovery, coming home from the turn in 37, Mrs McDonald’s score for the same part of the Journey being 39. In the Gillies Vase contest Mrs R. Pearson beat Mrs A. T. James, 3 and 2. The B*ml-flnals The following are the results of the semi-finals of the Hamilton Ladies Golf Club’s championships, played at St. Andrews links yesterday.—
Senior.—Mrs B. Seyb heat Mrs C. A. Arthur, 5 and 4; Mrs H. McDonald beat Mrs S. Bennett, 2 and 1. Junior.—. Mrs H. Toombs beat Miss McLean, 4 and 3; Mrs N. V. Edwards beat Mrs J. Ambury, 6 and 5. Gillies Vase. —Mrs Pearson beat Mrs Mac Diarmid, 2 and 1; Mrs James beat Mrs Dingle, 5 and 4.
