LOAN OF £16,000

POWER BOARD SCHEME APPLYING FOR AUTHORITY The Central Waikato Electric Power Board decided today to make application to the Local Bodies Loan Board for formal consent to the taking of a loan poll for reticulation purposes in the special Raglan No. 2 area, which embraces Te Akau, Waimai end the southern part of the Raglan county. The secretary-treasurer, Mr H. J. Beeche, reported that the board’s intention to make application for a loan of £16,000 for the work In the special area had been advertised according to statute, and no objections had been made to the board.
