GAMING OFFENCES
FINCB AMOUNT TO £MO FEILDING OPERATORS IN COURT (Special to Times) PALMERSTON NORTH, Monday In the Magistrate's Court, Felldlng, to-day several persons were charged with breaches of the gaming law, Ones aggregating £330 being Imposed. Albert Hoßken and Noel Hurdle were each fined £IOO for keeping & gaming house, and bookm&king respectively. Patrick Molloy was find £6O for keeping a gaming house, and James Hawkesburv Johnston, who admitted taking bets, was lined £3O. Mrs Ella Saunders, who, according to the police had been operating in a small way, for keeping a common gaming house, was find £4O.
