Mr J. Wilson, of Melbourne, Is visiting Hamilton. Mr W. E. Hale, of Te Aroha, chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board, Is visiting Wellington. Mr L. A. Cooke, of Auckland, is relieving station-master at Hamilton pending the arrival of Mr W, Moorman, of Tuakau, who has been appointed to the position. Mr A. E. Mabin, of Wellington, has been appointed president of the New Zealand Woolbrokers' Association, and Mr David Allan, of Wellington, vicepresident. Messrs J. Evans. E. L. Morris, H. Oavford (Wellington), W. E. Griffin (Auckland), J. Morris, A. Lodge and It. W. Steel (Christchurch) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr A. B. Casey, formerly stationmaster at Hamilton, who was recently appointed to a similar position at Stratford, has left to take up his new duties, Mr W. G. Stewart, station-master at Frankton Junction, has returned to Hamilton from Palmerston North, where lie had been recovering after an accident. Mr A. W. Thompson, headmaster of Hie Terrace End School, Palmerston North, has been appointed an actinginspector to the Wanganui Education Board consequent on the death ot Mr W. J. Boden, senior inspector of the board. Mr J. Buckley, son of Mr George Buckley, bandmaster of the Artillery Rand. Auckland, lias reached England from Germany, according to cable advice received by his father. Mr J. Buckley has been studying music at the Berlin Conservatorlum for the past Three years.
