ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY FORIVIED (Special to Times) HUNTLY, Monday. The Mayor, Mr W. C. E. George, presided over a good attendance at a meeting held to Torm an orchestral society in Huntly. The meeting was convened by Mr L. G. Peach. It was decided to Torm a society, and the following olTlcers were elected: —(Patrons, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, Messrs R. Warren and A. S. Sutherland; president. Mr L. G. Peach; secretary-treasurer, Mr E. M. Housley; executive committee, Messrs A. Allen, E. Sharpies, E. H. Fuller, W. Hopkins, G. Watson; general committee, all members of the orchestra; librarian, Mr R. Caldwell; conductor, Mr Lloyd G. Peach, L.T.C.L., L.R.S.M. (Lond.); honorary auditor, Mr C. Hay-Chapman. The election of vice-presidents was lento a later date.
