KING COUNTRY TITLES CHAMPIONSHIPS DECIDED (Special to Times) TE AWAMUTU, Monday. The annual King- Country goir championships were decided on the Te Awamutu Club’s links on Friday and Saturday, and there was g-ood representation from most or the clubs in the association’s territory. The results were:— King Country women’s championship.— Mrs P. R. Glanville (Te Awamutu), 169; runner-up, Mrs H. McDonald (Te Awamutu), 173. Teams Championship.—Te Awamutu A (Mrs McDonald, Mrs Glanville, Miss Quin, Miss M. Clark, Mrs C. Blundell, Mrs A. Bond), 724. Teams Handicap.—Te Awamutu B (Miss Montefiore, .’Sirs H. G. Babbage, Mrs J. B. Muir, Mrs J. Oliphant, Mrs J. Sterritt. Mrs E. Bryant), 627. Morning Medal.—Mrs Barker (Te Kuiti), 88—13—75. Afternoon Bogey.—Mrs Austin (Otorohanga), 4 down.
