The Governor-General. Lord Galway, and Lady Galway attended Hie Auckland Racing Club s winter meeting at Fillers lie on Saturday. Their Excellencies yesterday morning attended a special King s Birthday service at St. Matthew's Church.
Mr E. McKenzie, of Wafrarapa, sole selector of the New Zealand Rugby Union, is in Hamilton for the Auck-land-VVaikato match to-day.
Mr Ferg. B. Mason, formerly manager of the Theatre Royal, Hamilton, is acting as touring manager of a company of Russian Ballet dancers which will arrive in New Zealand on Wednesday.
