LENGTH OF SESSION
STATEMENT CLARIFIED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Saturday. Clarifying a report from Christchurch about the length of the session, the Prime Minister said to-day that with no prospect at present of a heavy legislative programme, the House should rise before December, and not drag on until that month as it had done in the past- He saw no reason why the business of the session should not be complete by October. The report from Christchurch made it appear in one place that the House would rise in December.
