JOLLY EVENING
WELCOME HOME A welcome home arranged by friends was held at the home of Mr and Mrs J. Raker, of Tatuanui, after their honeymoon trip to Australia. The evening was spent in games, competitions and community singing, items were given by Mrs Mem tosh, senr., Mrs J- Wilton, Mrs G. Furniss, Messrs R. Stewart and R. Young, Mr and Mrs Ken Mclntosh and Mr and Mrs R. McIntosh. Mr Mclntosh, senr., was the pianist. A feature of the evening was the presence of four generations of the Mclntosh family. Mr R. Stewart, on behalf of their many friends presented the guests-of-honour with a beautiful crystal water set on a mirror tray as a token of the high esteem in which they are held.
