RED CROSS SOCIETY ELECTION OF OFFICERS (Special to Times) MORRINSVILLE, Wednesday. A Morrinsville branch of the New Zealand Red Cross Society was formed at a meeting convened by the Mayor of Morinsville, Mr W. Iletherington, and held in the municipal chambers this week. An address was given by Colonel llargest, who contended that the Government had not shown any sympathy for the farmers. He spoke at length on the guaranteed price, and the Government's policy of heavy taxation and increased expenditure on public works. He also stressed the importance of dequatc defence measures.
