AMUSEMENT CLUB The following committee was elected at the annual meeting of the Puketaha Amusement Club: Messrs C. Thomas, P. Riokard, K- Speedy, Miss N. Worster, Miss N. Speedy, Mrs E. G. 'Bogun. Mr Rickard was elected president, and Mr Speedy secretary and treasurer. •On May 10 a successful and enjoyable concert was held, both Hamilton and local artists taking part. During the evening the opportunity was taken to make a presentation to each ■ member of the Feisst family, who will [ shortly be leaving the district and will ■ be very much missed. They have been residents of Puketaha for many years, and have always taken an active part in the affairs of the district. The Amusement Club held an enjoyable dance on May 25, at which the Feisst family were the guests of . the evening. Table tennis began last week, and judging by the attendance and interest, indications are for a successful season.
