TE KUITI SHEEP VALUES Messrs Dalgety and Company. Limited, report holding their supplementary sheep fair on Friday when well over the advertised entry was penned. The hulk of the yarding consisted of full mouth ewes and equal quantities of 4 and 5-year sheep were entered. Lambs were yarded in fair numbers, being mostly small lines. Prices receded on all classes of sheep and marked a decline on previous sales. Quotations: On account Finnis and Sons, 28 2-tooth ewes, 16s 6d; on account W. Findlay, 48 2-tooth ewes, 14s 6d; on account E. B. Ellis, 39 2-tooth ewes, 13s; on account C. Dick, 290 4 and 5-year ewes, 16s 6d; m account Finnison and Son, 163 5year ewes, 15s 6d; on account N. M. L. Old's, 549 f.m. ewes, 6s; on account C. R. Kerr, 173 6-year ewes, 9s; on account W. D. Gillanddrs, 106 wether lambs, 7s 6d; an account T. N. Snowden, 459 2-tooth wethers, 15s; on account W. D. Gillanders, 18 fat wethers, 17s lOd; on account Finnis and Son, 273 wether lambs, 10s 7d. 4-year-old ewes, lls to 17s; 5year, 12s to 15s 6d; s.m., 6s to 9s; aged ewes, 2s to 4s; fat b.f. 2-tooths, 15s 6d; wether lambs, 5s to 10s 7d; m.m. lambs, 3s to 8s; b.f. m.s., 3s to 7s 6d. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Limited, report on their Te Kuiti sale as follows: A full yarding of sheep well in excess of advertised numbers came forward. The entry generally was not of attractive quality and a lifeless sale for all classes resulted with a sub- , stantial fall in values, particularly in the case of full-mouth ewes. Two tooth ewes made up to 30s, being fully up to fair value. 'Five year ewes declined in value 3s to 4s per head, while wethers and lambs were also down in value. Southdown rams were sought within limited values but Romneys wen£ hard to quit. Quotations: Fat wethers, 17s 9d; 2-tooth (fat), 16s lid; 2-tooth wethers, 13s lid to 14s; small late shorn sorts, 12s 6d; good m.s. woolly lambs, lls 6d to 13s 6d; good store lambs, 9s to 10s 7d; fair lambs, 7s to 9s; culls, 4s to 5s 6d; good 2-tooth ewes, 30s; small hold over sorts, 15s to 19s 6d; fair quality five year ewes, 14s to 17s; five and six year ewes, 7s 3d to 9s 6d; cull ewes, 3s 6d to 6s; one shear S.D. rams, good class, 6J to 7 guineas; plainer sorts, to 5 guineas; one shear Romney rams, 3 to 3£ guineas; f.m. S.D. rams, 14 to 2J guineas. TAUPIRI QUOTATIONS The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Hamilton, report as follows on thety Taupiri stock sale held on Monday:— A good yarding of mostly forward conditioned Jersey cows came forward which sold readily at recent rates. Forward cow's made £3 15s to £4 Is, medium conditioned £3 5s to £3 12s 6d, boners £2 17s to £3, bulls £6 IDs to £8 10s. An average yarding of pork and bacon pigs came forward, values being slightly easier. A small yarding of store pigs met with keen competition, values showing a slight improvement. Heavy bacon pigs made £3 8s to £3 12s, medium £3 2s to £3 6s, light £2 18s to £3 ss, heavy porkers £2 13s to £2 l-6s, medium £2 6s to £2 12s, light £1 19s to £2 ss; stores, slips 21s to 25s 6d, weaners 9s to 12s.
