THE AUCKLAND MARKETS AT JU KI jAXD, We dn es day. Business in grain and produce continues to be slack and little interest is being taken in the markets. Potatoes.—A very firm market is ruling for potatoes. 'Onions.—The market continues steady, with prices unaltered at about 8s 6d a bag. Fowl Wheat.—Values are maintained at 6s lid a bushel in minimum lots of one ton. Maizez—Values for whole maize remain at from 12s lOd to 13s 5d per 1001 b, with crushed quoted at 14s 6d to 15s per 1001 b. Barley.—There has been no alteration in the price of about 7s 8d per 1001 h for unclipped and 8s 8d for clipped, in 10 sack lots for cash. Gats and Chaff.—r Chaff ranges from £lO 15s Lo £ll a ton, with oats quoted at lls 5d to lls 8d per 1001 b. Bran and Pollard.—Supplies of pollard are slightly more plentiful. There has been no change in the price of £9 to £9 15s a ton. Local stocks of bran also are short. Current values at £9 to £9 15s a ton are unaltered.
