POST SECTION PLAY WHITIORA PAIR BEATEN (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) ROTORUA, Friday After defeating Hosking (Grey Lynn) in the first round of the postsection play in the Rotorua opeD pairs’ tournament, last evening' Elliot (Whitiora), who was the only Waikato skip who qualified, was defeated by McDonald (Northern Palmerston North) in the second round this morning. The game was very close throughout with both teams playing well, McDonald finally wanning 19—16.
