BHAREB IN A OOMPANY COURT RESERVES DECISION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright/ (Received Feb. 24. 11 a.m.) JOHANNESBURG, Feb. 23 The Supreme Court reserved its decision on the application by Charles Bedaux for the setting aside of a writ of attachment. Bedaux applied for a refund of his security and costs, on the grounds that Robert McChesney must have known that there was no foundation for his suspicions, and that he was not deprived of shares, and must have realised the harm that the proceedings would do Bedaux.
On February it a court order was issued attaching the person of Charles Bedaux, an American efficiency expert and a friend of the Duke arid Duchess of Windsor. The order was issued on the- application of Robert McChesney, former manager of the Bedaux Company of Africa, to recover £2500 worth of the company’s stock allegedly held by Bedaux or the company. Bedaux was released after giving security.
