THREE MINERS PERISH TRAGEDY IN GOLD MINE GALLANT RESCUE EFFORTS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 24, 1 p.m.) KALGOORLIE, Feb. 24 Three men were killed by fumes in a goldmine at Dundas. The victims descended a shaft in a bucket and were immediately overcome.
Othep miners made gallant rescue efforts, but were driven back by the fumes and narrowly escaped the fate of their mates.
