SENTENCES AT NEW PLYMOUTH (By Tclegsaph.—Preea Aasoelatkm} NEW PLYMOUTH, Thursday I The following prisoners were sen- ( lenced in the Supreme Court to-day by Mr Justice Reed: — Douglas Hamilton Jones, for unlawful carnal knowledge, 12 months' reformative detention; Wallace William Tyrell, for indecent assault (three j charges), six months’ hard labour; Archibald Andrew Charles Scott, for ) breaking, entering and theft and breaking and entering with intent to j commit a crime, two years’ imprisonment concurrent on each and declared a iiai.ilual criminal for the third time; Robert White, for failing to stop after a motor collision, probation for two 'ears and his license cancelled for 12 months and to pay £5 10s 6d, the costs of the prosecution.
