They now provide the necessary machinery by which each pool can continue its operations from year to year on a sell-governing basis. A total* of oS protected pools was formed during last year, and through the agency uf producer committees more than* 350.000 calves were successfully marketed, with substantial savings to tiie producer and material improvement in handling.
