SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION
NGAHINAPOURI TENNIS CLUB The Ngahinapouri Tennis €lub held an enjoyable dance recently. The ball was artistically decorated with howls uf multi-coloured dahlias. Excellent dance music was supplied by Clayton's orchestra and .Mr Jack Brittain ably fulfilled the duties of M.C. During the evening a delicious supper was served by the lady members of the club. Among those present were:—Mesdames \V. Reid, black net and sequins; E. Wilkinson, powder blue taffeta; Bennet, black satin with floral coatee; E, ißeicl, spring green lace; Leckic, white taffeta; C. Reid, scarlet embos-
sed cloquc; Misses Mavis Bye, blue flowered crepe soie: D. Tudchope, pink cloquc; E. Hawkins, green 11 oral georgette; Doris Forkert, blue satin and Jacc: M. Nottingham, apricot cloquc; Alison Mills, fawn gcongette; Jean Bain, pink chiffon; Nancy Wing, green cloquc and gold flowers; Ruth Anderson, floral georgette; Nellie Cheyne, daffodil spotted ninon.
