MRS HOSKIN HONOURED A happy party was he d ii. the Oddfellows' Hall, Cambridge, recently, in honour oi t.ie 60th birthday of Mrs J. Hoskin, of Duke Slice!. The party was given by her two eons, Messrs S. ami J Hoskin. Tr«.re was a large attendance and a mo : enjoyable time was -feui in games, music and dancDuring the evening, Mr W. Sands, of Haulapu, referred „o the esteem in which Mr and Mrs Hoskm were held ii: the community xn r< many gifts, letters and telegrams supported Mr Sand’s remarks.
