JOLLY FUNCTION
HINUERA DANCE The Hinuera Hall was the scene of a successful dance recently, when the Hinuera Basketball Club held its first dance of the year. A jolly crowd of dancers from Matamata, Tirau, Waharoa, Okoroire and surrounding districts filled the hall and an enjoyable evening was spent. The winners of the novelty dances were Miss T. Chilton and Mr N. Gubb and Miss M. Schwarz and Mr T. Ryan. Among those present were:—Mesdames T. Cotter, flame laffeta; A. Hawke, navy sheer: N. Pond, blue and pink tunic frock; H.
