PERFORMERS’ CLUB
ENJOYABLE EVENING OPENING NIGHT'S ENTERTAINMENT The Hamilton Performers’ Club held its opening night of this year on Saturday evening at George Kingston’s studio when a large attendance of members and visitors enjoyed a varied programme of items and dancing. The hostesses of the evening were Mrs A. E. Cope, who wore a selfspotted navy taffeta jumper suit with jersey-blue cravat, and Miss Muriel Reese wearing peasant jumper and navy pleated skirt with a striped bolero.
Among those present were :—Mesdames M. Burdis, M. McLachlan, Misses Joan Parkhouse, Shirley Burton, Alma Burton, Leonie Swarbrick, Betty Grace, Bernice Choat, Hilda Hopkinson, Freddie Whitehouse, Dorothy Coates, Yal Hall, Luis Aitken, K. Olnley, Jean McLachlan. G. McDonald.
