MALAGIGI INQUIRY The inquiry which was commenced on Saturday evening into the running or Malagigi in the Storey Memorial Handicap wa« concluded this arternoon. The finding was as follows: ‘ That the stewards express their dissatisfaction with the manner in which H. N\ Wiggins rode Malagigi in the Storev Memorial Handicap and consider that he showed lack of judgment and incompetence in not securing a better position alone- the back stretch during the race. As the stewards are of opinion that there is an element or doubt about the matter they decide to take no action. - ’ Wiggins was lined £5 Tor hitting his mount over the head.
