FLIGHTS DELAYED
COOK STRAIT AIRWAYS GUSTY WIND IN WELLINGTON (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON. Saturday A strong northerly wind, with gusts up to 75 miles an hour, interrupted the schedule of the Cook Strait Airways machines this morning. It was practically impossible for the planes to land or leave Rongotai and after 9 o’clock the scheduled flights were postponed in the hope that the wind might decrease.
