WOMAN LOSES LIFE FATALITY NEAR WANGANUI (By Telegraph—press Association) WANGANUI, Saturday Through the car which she was driving from Palmerston North to Wanganui capsizing at 1.45 this morning near Putiki, Mrs Marjorie Hughes, with three children, wife of Mr A. J. Kuarhps. manager of the Fordell Timber 'Company, suffered injury from which she died shortly after admission to the Wanffanui Hospital. Mrs Hughes with three passengers was returning from Palmerston North She passed another car near Putiki and immediately capsized- The driver of the second car was compelled to swerve suddenly to avoid the upturned car and also capsized. Ho and four passengers were uninjured. Mrs Hughes had three passengers who escaped with slight injury.
