MORNING TEA PARTY

BATHROOM GIFTS Miss Billie Murtagh was hostess yesterday morning at a happy “bathroom" morning tea party at H. and J. Court’s Rooms, for Miss Grace Hubbard. whose marriage to Mr S. Hawken takes place on Saturday. Floating bowls of hydrangea* and crimson parrot-beak flowers were arranged on the oblong table, which was laden with a delicious morning tea. Miss Hubbard was the recipient of many good wishes and numerous delightful gifts. Miss Billie Murtagh received her guests in a suit of clover cloque, which she wore with furs and a navy hat. The guest-of-honour was wearing a smart ivory pin-tucked suit and a nattier blue sailor felt hat. Those present were : —Mrs F. W. Hubbard, Mrs A. Murtagh. Mrs S. R. Hawken, Mrs N. Bam ford, iMrs R. Pearson, Mrs L. Squire, Mrs H. Fear; Misses Rita Holmes (Dunedin), Barbara Chi tty, Jocelyn Howe, June Strachan, Joyce Edwards and Irem Moore.
