NEW ACT PENALIBES SALE FORMAL APPLICATION NECESSARY (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 14, 1 p.m.) ■LONDON, Feb. 13 Major R. H. Dorman-Smith announced in the House of Commons that the Merchandise Act penalised f' the sale in Britain of imported cheese described as Cheddar and Cheshire, unless the country of origin is marked. Such marking could only follow formal application bj those interested.
