It is officially announced in Rome that the Italo-German pact has been signed, providing for the exchange of goods valued at £34,200,000 annually. Italy buying coal and Germany foodstuffs, textiles, hemp and silk. Secondly, there is the FrancoGerman pact. Thirdly, the German-Xorway agreement, negotiating for the transfer to Germany of orders previously supplied by Czechs from Sudetenland. Fourthly, there is the Poland-Russia agreement. ______
