KITCHEN EVENING
BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED Mrs H. Maxwell was hostess at her home on the occasion of a kitchen evening in honour of Miss Gwen Morley, who is to be married next week. Dancing was held in the large drawing room and verandahs. After a delicious supper, Mr H. Rothery asked Miss Morley and Mr Jackson to open the many gift parcels. Mr Jackson suitably replied. Mrs Maxwell received her guests in a frock of tomato satin worn with a silver coatee. Miss Morley was wearing floral ninon, with matching coatee, and Mrs A. Morley green satin with gold trimmings. Among those present were :—Mesdames H. Rothery, 0. Dalziel, V. Simms, L. Hitchcock, A. Fleming, F. fi. Johnson, S. Briggs, H. Miller, D. Patterson, J. Briggs, 11. Lawrence, S. Johnson.. Misses G.
