SUCCESSFUL EVENING

ODDFELLOWS’ DANCE An enjoyable evening was spent recently in the Kaipaki Hall, when members of the Kaipaki branch of the Manchester Unity Order Oddfellows held a new year dance and card party. Dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by the Marina Orchestra, an extra being' played by Bro. Fell, Cambridge. There was a good attendance, including many members from the surrounding district lodges. The M.’sG. for the dancing were Bros. W. and S. Kite, and for the cards Bro. W. Cunningham, P.G. A delicious supper was served by the members of the committee. Novelty dances were won by Mr L. Cunningham and Mrs S. Kite, and Mr Pulford and Miss Boucher. The winners of the five-hundred drive were Mrs Graham and Mr .1. Scott.
