SON OF LATE POLITICIAN POSTHUMOUS RECOGNITION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 10, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 9 His Majesty the King has oonferred a baronetcy on Andrew Ashton Waller Hills, five-year-old son of the late Right Hon. John Waller Hills whose death on December 24 prevented the honour being conferred in the New Year’s list. The widow has been granted the title of a baronet’s widow. The late Right Hon. John Waller Hills, PjC., D.L.C., had been M.P. for the Ripon division of Yorkshire since 1925. He died last December, aged 71. He was an officer in the 4th Battalion Durham Light Infantry and was wounded and mentioned in despatches in the Great War. He first entered Parliament as Conservative member for Durham City in 1906. He was Financial Secretary to the Treasurv, 1922-23.
