Dr. Negrin departed at noon in an attempt to reach Valencia to join General Miaja. Senor Del Vayo is reported to be en route to Perpignan. PARIS, Feb. 9 After a conference attended by Senor Azana and other notable loyalists, the Spanish Embassy denied that General Miaja has contacted with General Franco with a view to negotiating the surrender of central Spain. They added there was no question of unconditional surrender.
